A friend sent me some images which were in bitmap format and when I uploaded them to my Photobucket account they went "flat" - all the animation stopped working and I ended up with a static tag. Also when I tried to use one on a forum, it didn't like the "bitmap" format and wouldn't let me upload it.
Is there anyway to upload them and keep the animation working? - would I have to "change" them from bitmap format and if so, how would I do this?
(Complete computer nerd here - any help or advice would be seized on with much gratitude!!!!)

| Now I KNOW I replied to this and my reply was not posted- grrrrr- modern technology. The best save for animations is a GIF file. Bitmaps are generally static, non animated images. If you have an animation program, open them in it, if it lets you, then SAVE AS GIF. Hope I was slightly helpful. |
